Social events
Get-Together & Meals
The workshop will begin with a Get-Together on Monday, October 5, at 6:30 pm, once all participants have arrived.
Afterwards, we will enjoy dinner by our cook, who will also prepare dinner for us on the following evenings throughout the week.
Lunch will be provided daily by a local catering service. Everything needed for breakfast will be provided as well. Participants will take turns preparing breakfast each morning.
Hike
As in the previous year, we will organize a group hike during the retreat. Details will be announced during the week. We recommend bringing suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.

Bed linen will be provided. Please bring your own towels, slippers, and, if needed, a hairdryer.
Arrival information
Darmstadt - Geneva (bypass Geneva on the motorway), turn off towards the airport before Geneva and then continue towards France/Chamonix. After crossing the border (France), take the A41 motorway towards Annecy (left lane). Take the Annecy Nord exit (exit no. 17) and follow the signs to Thones. In Thones, head towards Manigod, drive through the village, then continue uphill towards Col de la Croix Fry until you reach the chalet. The chalet is located on the left-hand side, approx. 5.3 km from the centre (church) of Manigod and approx. 300 m after the Hotel Croix Fry. A red sign ‘L'Eridan-Chalet Giersch’ at the side of the road indicates the access road.
